John studied landscape design at the University of New Orleans as part of his indoctrination to the architectural metal business in New Orleans. A longtime Colleyville, TX resident, John enjoyed 4 years as an educator at Dallas County Community College. His experience as a teacher and business owner is beneficial to his clients. He founded Mid-Cities Ornamental Iron and operated it for 32 years.

John has enjoyed coaching youth sports when his children were involved and hobbies have included motorsports of all kinds, hiking and fishing.  John and Kendra have been married for 43 years and reside in Tarrant County.

John is also humbled and grateful to have been selected and recognized for his security work for the Restoration of the Texas Governor’s Mansion Project (Austin Texas) in 2013 by The Texas Preservation Board and the Texas State Troopers.
