Personal Background

I always tell people that I was one of the first Californians to make Utah my home. In 1991, I left Lake Tahoe because I still wanted to ski, but I needed a degree. I attended Salt Lake Community College and then transferred to the University of Utah for my Bachelor’s degree.

In 2005, after being landlocked for 14 years, I decided I wanted to live at the beach. As a single mom, I took my 5 year old daughter out to Florida where we lived for 13 years. We survived hurricanes Dennis, Katrina, Wilma, and Irma! Going through a hurricane can certainly give you a different perspective on things. In 2018, we came back to Utah and I've decided to claim this state as my home.

Having been back in the area for over three years now, it amazes me how much growth is still going on here! It’s exciting to be able to assist people in the most important transitions of their lives.
