Matthew Medford

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Matthew Medford grew up with a strong appreciation for the many historic buildings, homes and notable landmarks to be found in and around the Salt Lake Valley. His love for architecture and design was inspired by his childhood growing up under the tutelage of his father, a custom home builder. Matthew spent numerous summers cleaning and sweeping job sites, spending his free time pursuing a passion for architecture and art, drawing historic homes with as much detail as possible.

Prior to entering the fast-paced world of real estate, Matthew spent several years working in Event Planning and Customer Service, which eventually lead to his role leading a full Concierge Services team – a demanding experience that taught him the value of efficient multi-tasking, communication, and organization. He has also been licensed in Medical Esthetics for over 12 years, owning and operating a successful family-run Funeral Home.

Matthew began his career in real estate as a licensed assistant to a successful local REALTOR® in 2006 before shifting to a full-time, successful career in Medical Esthetics. Eventually, inspired by the same that helped him purchase his first townhome in Sandy, Matthew made the move into selling real estate full time. Matthew jumped into the industry and took off running, realizing very quickly that real estate would become his new career and passion.

Matthew loves to talk design with his clients and has been asked to do the interior décor for their homes and businesses on numerous occasions. He has a unique ability to recognize small details, making each moment beautiful and memorable; Matthew’s strong attention to detail ensures that his clients’ needs and questions are anticipated and addressed quickly and efficiently. He prides himself on going the extra mile for his clients, building strength in each relationship, and watching them grow over the years. When Matthew is not in the office selling real estate and working hard for his clients, you will find him playing with his three beautiful French Bulldogs, traveling the world or enjoying a good cup of coffee or a meal with his family.
