desirable.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Alishia received a BA in Spanish Literature from Spelman College, and an MA in International Education from New York University. She worked at NYU’s Office of Global Services assisting international/study abroad students, then moved to the DMV area to serve at the Kuwait Embassy’s Cultural Office where she acted as a liaison between the Ministry of Education in Kuwait and US universities. Since moving to the DMV area, Alishia has lived in Glover Park, DC, Suitland, MD, and
presently, Alexandria, VA. She is a self-proclaimed foodie, lover of all things travel, and enjoys finding hidden gems in her local communities
