Jayden Lohnes

Hello fellow agents, since I've graduated from high school, I've been trying to find my nook in the world. For the longest time, I thought my direction in life was to be a mechanic. Since I was 12 years old, I have been tinkering with just about anything and everything I could get ahold of, old and new vehicles & ORV’s. I attended Lake Washington Institute of Technology for two years and obtained my Associates Degree in Diesel Technology. While I am very happy to have gained this knowledge, ultimately I have decided that is not necessarily the direction I wish to go. I will always have a passion for working on engines and doing repairs for friends and family, however I felt that there was something more out there that I could do for a living. Anyway, as much as I would love to talk shop, that's not the reason I'm writing this. There is something that I've been learning about a lot longer than mechanics that I didn't even realize I was absorbing until recently. When I was a kid my only babysitter was my friend John and my mom while she was working (if you knew me as a kid that was seriously impressive). As I got older, I paid more attention to what was going on and the way my mom conducted these transactions. From the way she fought for her clients to knowing all there was to know about overall properties in general and if she did not know she learned. I started asking questions and becoming invested in the transactions when I would find myself involved, whether that be helping people move or whatever my mom would volunteer me to do, so in the past 6 months I have been working through the Real Estate courses, studying for the State and National exams and finally passing the tests.I am now a licensed Washington State Real Estate broker. I have got a pretty good start in understanding all of this. Still, there is a lot more I have to learn, however I have a great teacher/mentor working right by my side.
