Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Alpharetta Office Announces Retirement of Mary McPherson

Kathy Weeks named new branch manager of Alpharetta office

ALPHARETTA, GA (March 10, 2016) – Mary McPherson, manager of the Alpharetta office for over 15 years, has announced her plans to retire. During her very successful career managing the office, the Alpharetta office was recognized as the number one branch in the Atlanta metro area for the past four consecutive years and was also named as a President’s Council office for nine years.

“My years with Coldwell Banker and as branch manager of the Alpharetta office have been great ones,” said McPherson. “I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the sales associates of the office and I now look forward to joining my husband in retirement.”

In her 30-years in real estate, McPherson spent her entire career with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, first as a sales associate, and then as branch manager. McPherson was consistently recognized with awards for her high-producing sales. She was a top producing sales associate in North Fulton County and received the prestigious Phoenix Award from the Atlanta Board of Realtors, recognizing ten consecutive years of million dollar production.

“Mary’s contribution to the Alpharetta office has been an invaluable addition to our Atlanta operations,” said Charlotte Sears, president, Atlanta, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. “Her dedication to the office’s growth and support to the sales associates has helped the Alpharetta office exceed its goals year after year. We are very appreciative of her years of dedication and wish her a happy and fulfilling retirement.”

Following the retirement of McPherson, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has named Kathy Weeks as the new branch manager of the company’s Alpharetta office. Weeks will lead approximately 95 independent sales associates and brings nearly 20 years of experience in real estate.

Weeks was previously the Regional Vice President at Allen Tate Realtors where she managed all upstate South Carolina branches of Allen Tate. Among her many professional talents, Weeks brings to Alpharetta extensive experience in strategic planning, recruiting, and sales management. Her well-rounded background in real estate will contribute significantly to the Alpharetta office’s goals.

“I followed the path to the real estate profession almost 20 years ago and have a tremendous passion for the industry,” said Weeks. “Serving clients in the purchase or sale of the largest investment most individuals make is incredibly rewarding. Now I'm privileged to serve agents as they grow their businesses in this outstanding profession and go out into the field to serve our clients.”
