Atlanta Agent Uses Star Wars Analogy to Stress the Importance of Listings
ATLANTA (September 28, 2015) — Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Marc Castillo, a top-producing sales associate in the Midtown office, was a recent speaker at the annual Coldwell Banker Generation Blue Conference in Chicago. Castillo represented Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage with a presentation titled, “The Listing Strikes Back:
Leveraging "the Force" to Get More Listings.” Other presenters included Tom Ferry and Matthew Ferrara, nationally acclaimed real estate trainers.
Castillo explained the importance of getting more listings, paraphrasing Star Wars’ Master Yoda by saying, “Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try.” He shared his best practices to fashion an empire of marketable listings, and referred to his experience in marketing Chestnut Hall, his top listing with a $48 million price tag.
“At the end of the day, the listing is the foundation upon which any real estate transaction occurs,” said Castillo. “What’s more, listings lead to more listings and more buyers. My buyer’s want is expertise, so agents must truly understand their market and trends to be successful with investor clients.”
