While purchasing his own Hollywood Hills home, Gene Bush decided to enter the real estate market as a realtor. That was 13 years ago and in that time he has become one of the top producers in the industry and earned the coveted designation of International President’s Elite, representing the top 2 percent of Coldwell Banker agents internationally. He is the go-to agent for buyers and sellers who know he will not rest until he gets them what they want.

“I became enticed with the real estate process,” Gene says of his own home-buying experience. “I had a great real estate agent, who was with me every step of the way. I knew I could do the same and even more for clients when finding them the home of their dreams, helping them get the best possible price as sellers, or both at the same time.”

Gene calls Coldwell Banker Beverly Hills North office his home away from home. A former stockbroker, he says his time working on Wall Street sharpened his intuition in finding solid investments, honed his skills at cultivating and maintaining relationships with clients and others involved in transactions and at negotiating deals.

“Communication is one of the most important aspects of all my client relationships,” says Gene, who holds a bachelor’s in economics from Syracuse University in his native New York. “I provide honesty and candor. My clients respect that and feel at ease because of it. I learned early on that exaggerated advertising and promotion does not get deals done, but rather exaggeration makes deals harder to close and can erode ultimate value for a client.”

A good communicator is as much a good listener as a good conversationalist. Gene listens to his clients when they tell him what they looking for in a new home, or their goals in selling property. Passionate about his work, Gene takes the time to get to know his clients, and makes their home-buying and selling priorities his own. He designs a personal plan and works closely with each client to set and satisfy specific goals that will often exceed their initial expectations.
