Colleen Wurzell

The fifth of nine children, Colleen Wurzell was raised in San Pedro with loving parents and a gaggle of siblings to help pass the time. As a young adolescent/teen, summers were spent working at the family swim school (where Colleen faced many a sunburn and close brushes with death, as she tried not to get pulled under by frightened four year olds). And, Friday nights were full of lights, as the whole fam would pack up to go watch Colleen’s dad coaching the local high school football team from the sidelines. This affinity for family and true passion for helping people, led Colleen into a 20+ year career in nursing. Working with adults in Critical Care and tiny babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit further fostered Colleen’s conviction of caring for others. However, seventeen years ago, Colleen made the bold decision to trade in her successful and rewarding nursing career and try her hand in the wide world of real estate. This had long been a passion of her’s, and taking the plunge proved to be both demanding but fulfilling. She has been able to walk numerous clients thru the biggest purchases/sales of their lives, approaching each one with compassion and customized attention. Colleen was quickly met with success, receiving the Rookie of the Year award her first year and multiple awards in the seventeen years since, and she cannot wait to continue pursuing this passion of hers with Coldwell Banker as part of her new family. It is the perfect match, as Colleen resides right locally in Huntington Beach, with husband Jeff (and a seemingly revolving door for their four grown children).
