More about Joe Mellis
Joe Mellis has lived in Silver Lake since 1999. He is married and the father of two children. He is an active member of the community, currently serving on the Ivanhoe Elementary School Site Council, and also volunteering in various other capacities at Ivanhoe, where his daughter is a student. He volunteers as a basketball coach and soccer coach at the Silver Lake Recreation Center, where he also serves on a community advisory board to the Recreation Center.
In addition to being a real estate agent for the past ten years, Joe recently graduated from law school and has been admitted to the State Bar of California. Joe does work in various capacities as an attorney in addition his work as a practicing real estate agent.
Joe commits to his clients fully. As a homeowner, he knows how important it is for buyers to love the place they want to buy. And for sellers, he knows that while the bottom lines is of unsurpassed importance, sellers also want to know that they are selling their house to people who love it. He understands the complexities and difficulties that can arise in a residential real estate transaction and he believes in preparing his clients as much as possible for the likely eventualities in a transaction. However, he also knows that each transaction has it's own unique qualities and turns of events, and that it is not possible to anticipate everything that may happen. Thus, Joe also believes in the necessity of being flexible in the midst of transactions while always keeping his clients goals and needs front and center.
