Native Bay Area Real Estate Professional
More about Eileen Shydlowski
I was born and raised in San Jose, California. I have been fortunate enough to move about quite a bit in my adulthood, living in Santa Cruz (for college - Go Banana Slugs), Chicago and Mexico (2 times), and returned to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2000. The difference in real estate was an enormous increase in pricing between the time I left in 1993, and returned in 2000, most significantly due to the tech boom in Silicon Valley.
I believe that home ownership is important and creates stable communities where people are able to live a healthy life.
When my husband and I moved to Silicon Valley in 2000, we had two young children, and just one income. We struggled to find a rental property, and ultimately lived in a semi-owned unit for 2 and half years before we purchased our charming and, capital "O" for original, Santa Clara home. We have lovingly and dutifully upgraded the home and yard, and have lived in Santa Clara for more than 14 years. Santa Clara is still a small town within Silicon Valley and we have raised our children here.
I love touring homes on the market, and following up to see if a home sells quickly, lingers on the market, or what I believe could have been done better to obtain the goal of selling the home. In many of my listings, I have been able to provide staging items, and clear some of the clutter.
I would love the opportunity to talk with you if you are looking to sell your home, or looking to buy. This market is tight, but there may be something I can do to help you. Please call me at (408)307-3021.
