Esther Winston – REALTOR® | Serving Sonoma County

A proud Sonoma County native, I grew up in beautiful Sonoma, CA, and graduated from Sonoma Valley High School in 1980. I earned my BA in Environmental Studies from Sonoma State University, and later completed my teaching credential at Chapman University. For the past 28 years, I’ve dedicated my career to education, teaching multiple grade levels at Corona Creek Elementary School in Petaluma.

After retiring from teaching, I decided to pursue a lifelong interest—real estate. Inspired by my son Stephen, who also became a licensed REALTOR®, I passed my exam on the first try and never looked back. Today, Stephen and I work as a team, bringing a unique family-focused, community-driven perspective to our clients.

I’ve lived in five homes, all within Petaluma, and I understand the emotional and financial investment that buying or selling a home involves. My background in education has given me the patience, attention to detail, and communication skills essential to guiding clients through the real estate process.

I’ve been married to my husband Ed for 41 years, and we have two wonderful sons, Geoffrey (40) and Stephen (35). Geoffrey and his fiancée Ellen will be married in June 2026 and live in Chicago. Geoffrey works in the Tech Industry. Stephen and his wife Lexxi, both elementary school teachers, live in Petaluma with their two children, Harlee (5) and Jacob (3).

Outside of real estate, I enjoy decorating, gardening, and reading. I’ve been part of a book group for the last 10 years, and I love connecting with others through shared interests and stories.

As I step into this new chapter, I look forward to helping others find not just a house—but a place to truly call home.
