Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Helps the American Cancer Society Make Strides Against Breast Cancer
CHARLESTON, SC (November 2, 2016) – Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage was the presenting sponsor of the American Cancer Society ‘Making Strides Against Breast Cancer’ charitable walk in Charleston, and has committed to raising $75,000 to support breast cancer research and programs. The brokerage has already raised $26,833 for the Charleston walk on October 22, and is on track to meet its final fundraising goal.
“Real estate is a female-powered industry, and many of our lives have personally been touched by breast cancer. That’s why we’re so committed to this cause,” said Pauline Bennett, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in the Carolinas.
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has sponsored the Making Strides Against Cancer event for over ten years and has overall raised $2 million for the cause, creating a long-standing legacy in the Carolinas in the fight against breast cancer. Participating sales associates affiliated with the brokerage have contributed by donating a portion of their sales to the cause or by attending company-sponsored charitable events throughout the year. Many more fundraising events will be held throughout the Carolinas to help the company reach its goal to fight breast cancer.
