The combination of hay fields and pasture, live water, riparian areas, pinon juniper forest cover, and numerous irrigation ditches that bisect the ranch provide great habitat for resident mule deer, as well as remarkable elk herds that periodically transition the ranch. Recreation The ranch is very accessible and usable due to its gentle slope and a nice trail system throughout for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, ATV'ing, snowmobiling, or cross-country skiing.
