My name is Lacinda Rowles but everyone calls me Cindy. Although originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I moved to Delaware over 30 years ago and enjoy the many benefits of residing in the state known as "Small Wonder." My husband, Ed, who is also a realtor and I have raised 2 daughters and currently I am also am very involved with three grandchildren as well.

I started my real estate career in June 2016 and have worked with clients in both New Castle and Kent Counties during my time in providing real estate services. My previous professional careers have helped provide me with the skills and information to provide my real estate clients with outstanding skills and service. Frequently, more research on a property and its costs require additional verified information to help a client make an informed decision. A client may need financial assistance through Delaware State Housing, Workforce Housing, or grants offered by other financial institutions in order to make their dream of home ownership a reality. A first time homebuyer may be overwhelmed with the process and require additional time to review paperwork and the steps to achieve ownership. These are just some of the types of support and assistance that is provided to my clients every day. I am a certified Senior Real Estate Specialist and an Accredited Buyer Representative which gives me additional expertise to assist my clients in their search for a new residence. Prior to my adventure in real estate, I worked for several years as the Executive Director of retirement, assisted living and both intermediate and skilled nursing facilities. In addition to my administrative responsibilities, I was also the person involved in working with prospective clients and often their children and evaluating whether the facility was the best choice to meet their needs. It was necessary to be informed about Medicare/Medicaid requirements and other option available in the community that might better meet the clients needs and preferences. The information that I gained working in this field has become even more valuable when I am working with older adults as they consider their next housing step whether it is downsizing, renting, 55+ communities with additional amenities or other options.

My next career step was the purchase and operation of a high quality play-based child care center in the Newark area. My School offered children from 6 weeks to 8 years old a variety of stimulating curriculum to develop and assess their skills and abilities. Once again, I was very involved with meeting with parents and other family members to discuss the programs we offered. I also had to be knowledgeable about other programs and resources available in the community when additional services might be advised for some of the children. So, I worked with Child Watch and Find, funding for military families, and state subsidies to name a few of the community resources that I utilized to assist families achieve their needs and goals for their children.
