Laurie King

For Laurie King, real estate isn't simply a career, it's something that has been part of her life for as long as she can remember.

As a second-generation real estate professional, Laurie grew up around the business. Her father was a real estate broker, and what initially began as an interest and hobby for Laurie eventually developed into a career of her own.

From 2001 through 2021, Laurie worked in real estate in Ohio, where she especially enjoyed working with first-time homebuyers, new construction, and clients purchasing investment properties. At the same time, she built valuable experience working as a project coordinator with numerous construction companies. That combination of real estate and construction experience developed Laurie's strong attention to detail and gave her an understanding of homes that goes beyond simply buying and selling them. 

Today, Laurie is proud to call Southwest Florida home. She and her husband have lived here for six years, and Southwest Florida has truly become home for their family as well. Her daughter, son, and granddaughter have all followed them to Florida.

Laurie serves buyers and sellers throughout Fort Myers, Naples, Cape Coral, and the surrounding Southwest Florida communities. Her areas of focus include residential homes, condominiums, relocation, investment properties, and new construction. Her staging and decorating abilities will enhance a home's marketability and appeal to potential buyers.

What Laurie enjoys most, however, is the people.

She believes buying or selling a home should be an exciting and positive experience, not an intimidating one. Laurie takes the time to listen, understand what her clients really want, and guide them through each step of the process.

Her goal is to make the experience enjoyable while working hard behind the scenes to help ensure a smooth transaction and successful closing.

After six years in Southwest Florida, Laurie continues to love the lifestyle that originally attracted her family here, the beautiful weather, beaches, and seemingly endless activities available throughout the area. She enjoys helping others discover that same lifestyle and find the place they will be proud to call home.
