Meet Sue Parr
More about Sue Parr
Individually and together, Sue and husband Ken have had a history of exceeding client expectations. As residents and longtime real estate professionals of the Punta Gorda area, they put to work their incomparable community knowledge, extensive experience in the mortgage lending industry and combined 30+ years in real estate to achieve the finest results for homebuyers and sellers alike.
In 2000, Sue and Ken decided to flee Michigan winters and make Punta Gorda their primary residence. That same year, after an 18 year career in the mortgage banking industry, Sue obtained her real estate license. Becoming a Realtor was a natural fit for her service/sales experience; and Sue has since enjoyed notable success as a full time real estate professional in the Punta Gorda – Burnt Store area. Ken (a true Florida native) shifted his mortgage banking business to include both Michigan and Florida lending, before deciding that his vast experience with property financing was the perfect career bridge into real estate sales.
Offering trusted and experienced service with a genuine care for establishing long term relationships they have consistently been recognized in the upper tier of local real estate professions. Focusing on their client’s needs and desires enables them to assist in finding the perfect full-time residence or seasonal getaway. Honing in on a seller’s goals allows them to craft a marketing plan that achieves the best possible sale price in the shortest amount of time. Whether buying or selling, their combination of skillful negotiations and sharp attention to detail will ensure that the process happens smoothly and effortlessly.
The catalyst for the Parr’s landing in Punta Gorda was boating, and this SW region of Florida offers some of the best boating and fishing in the country. After enjoying many adventures on the Great Lakes, they searched for the perfect waterfront community that would mirror the experiences they had in the north. Spending many years exploring both coasts of Florida, Sue and Ken kept returning to Punta Gorda, specifically the charming gated community of Burnt Store Marina which plays host to the largest full service, deep water marina in SW Florida situated on the banks of Charlotte Harbor with direct Gulf of Mexico access.
In 2017, after 18 years in Punta Gorda at Burnt Store Marina, they relocated to the Venice area and expanded their sales territory to include Burnt Store / Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, North Port, Wellen Park (formerly West Villages), Venice and Lakewood Ranch.
In June of 2020, Ken moved his real estate license into a Referral Network leaving hands on sales to Sue while he maintains and manages the back office. They continue to offer exceptional service and exceed client's expectations at every turn as evidenced by the Sales Honors below!
