Taken down to the studs and redesigned by a local architect as his own personal residence, this contemporary home was thoughtfully reimagined to maximize both functionality and living space. The exterior received a metal roof, impact-rated windows throughout, and impact-rated front and garage doors. Additionally, the second level, which unlike the first floor is wood framed, was reinforced with current code-compliant metal brackets and straps, bringing the structure up to modern standards for high winds. The old non-AC enclosed patio was demolished to make way for a breezy screened porch. The old paver drive was removed and replaced with a new concrete driveway, updated landscaping, and a new irrigation system.
