Sarasota’s Top-Ranking Individual Agent Closes 2017 with $104.6 Million in Sales

SARASOTA, FL (January 4, 2018) – Roger Pettingell has once again broken his annual real estate sales record, wrapping up 2017 with a monumental $104.6 million in individual total sales volume throughout the year. The year-end total sets a record sales volume sold by any individual agent ever over a one-year period in Sarasota. Pettingell, a Global Luxury Property Specialist, is an affiliated sales associate with Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate’s Longboat Key office.

Throughout the year, Pettingell sold a total of 60 properties, many of them multi-million dollar estates in Sarasota’s most exclusive neighborhoods. In 2016, Pettingell sold $77.53 million, up from $72 million in 2015.

Some of Pettingell’s more notable property sales throughout the year included:

 

  •          1372 Harbor Drive: Sold in April, the Harbor Acres waterfront home closed for $6 million;
  •          1505 Hillview Drive: Closed for $4,550,000 in December, Roger worked with both the Buyer and Seller of this home;
  •          435 L’Ambiance Drive: Sold and closed in three weeks, this double residence with walk-down to the beach closed for $4,800,000;
  •          1233 North Gulfstream Avenue, Unit #PH-3: Sold for $3.6 million in August, the penthouse is located in the heart of Downtown Sarasota;
  •          1111 Ritz Carlton Drive, Unit #1501: Ritz-Carlton Residences’ 15th floor luxury unit sold for $3.4M in May.

In between selling homes, Pettingell appeared on a recent panel regarding Hurricane Irma’s impact on the Sarasota housing market, describing the local market as resilient and having already recovered from the storm’s impacts. He is a member of several international marketing and technology masterminding groups and will attend the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas as a Coldwell Banker representative. Active in the community, Pettingell serves on the boards of the West Coast Black Theatre Troupe and Southeastern Guide Dogs.
