Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate’s Regina Sedar Sells Historic $1.075 Million Punta Gorda Home
PUNTA GORDA (December 8, 2015) — Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate’s Regina Sedar from the company’s Punta Gorda office sold 401 West Retta Esplanade for $1.075 million. The home dates back to the original settlers of the town and was built in 1894. The character-filled property overlooks Charlotte Harbor and Gilchrist Park and features a wrap-around porch and widow’s walk.
“Punta Gorda does have million dollar plus homes. Why pay double in Sarasota or Naples when you can have twice as much home in our lovely community,” said Sedar.
The historical 5,600 square-foot residence may feel historic but has all of the modern luxury upgrades. Comfortably accommodating, the four-bedroom, three-bathroom and two-half bath home features an elegant master suite complete with a double sided fireplace and private balcony. The pool area is highlighted by a rock spa, waterfall and lush landscaping. The property has been cited as a “haunted” house in FloridaLand Ghost Magazine and has survived Hurricane Charley.
