Coldwell Banker®’s Naples 5th Avenue Office Now Blue Zone Certified
The Blue Zone Certification pledges the office’s dedication to an overall healthy community lifestyle
NAPLES, FL (May 10, 2016) — Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate’s Naples 5th Avenue office was recently approved as a Blue Zone Certified Office. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held to commemorate the occasion. Nancy MacDonald, the office’s branch manager, led the movement to encourage a healthy lifestyle.
“I was introduced to the Blue Zones Project through a Naples real estate blogger,” said Nancy MacDonald. “As a group, I realized that there were many ways we could implement healthy choices in our daily work routine. I think most of the participants would agree that we have stopped allowing “routine” to dictate our lives and have begun making healthier decisions.”
As a part of the Blue Zone movement, the office followed a set of checklist items to ensure a healthy lifestyle could be adopted in clear, measurable ways. Out of 76 sales associates in the office, 43 signed the pledge to lead a healthier lifestyle. In addition, the office was designated as a tobacco-free zone, a bike rack was installed, nutritious food options have been offered at meetings, and smaller serving dishes have been provided.
To encourage exercise and volunteerism, a walking team has been organized to meet three times per week and volunteer opportunities have been sought out.

I am very proud of the commitment our sales associates have made to giving back to the community,” said Nancy MacDonald.
