Cheryl Alpert

Growing up as a native of the area, Cheryl J. Alpert has lived and worked in numerous communities inside Boston and its suburbs enabling her to have an intimate knowledge of many neighborhoods. A graduate of Wesleyan University in CT, a MA of Art History from Boston University, she also pursued an MBA from Harvard Business School.

After selling the advertising/PR agency she founded, she took on the role as Chief Marketing Officer at a turnaround in CA, which was sold to CBS. Subsequently, Cheryl held several executive marketing positions in technology and health care information systems.

Alpert’s segue into real estate was born from her passion for design, her business acumen, client focus, and her negotiating skills.

Now a seasoned REALTOR® at Coldwell Banker, and a certified member of several accredited local and national real estate associations, Cheryl provides “white glove” service to her clients no matter their price point. Noted for her dedicated client service, attention to detail, and negotiating prowess, she possesses a business posture that is reassuring. Whether buying or selling, real estate is a weighty decision that demands as much data and information as possible. Cheryl strives to cultivate trust and respect in providing that information.

She has seen sellers eager to right-or down- size their homes. She has pivoted this year to become an established expert by giving seminars, consulting, and currently authoring an in-depth guide on rightsizing that goes beyond decluttering into the emotional and financial challenges that her clients, friends, and family are facing. If a seller needs any kind of work done before putting their home on the market, Cheryl puts on her GC hat and manages the process from start to finish,

Cheryl was selected to be a member of the Weston Housing Production Planning Committee which looked at affordable and convenient units. She sits on the Board of Newton at Home, an organization that enables elders to age in place. Alpert has volunteered on the Weston Council on Aging and the Cultural Arts Committee. Cheryl is an active fundraiser for The Jimmy Fund
