I am a native of Worcester County, MD. I was born and raised just south of Berlin in the small town of Newark. I attended Worcester Prep until eighth grade and Stephen Decatur High School. I am a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. After graduation I worked for a computer software company specializing in Real Estate software. For about 4 years I travelled and taught REALTORSreg; how to use MLS (Multiple Listing Service) software.

My mother Jo Ann Cropper was in the Real Estate business in Ocean City Maryland from the time that I was 10 years old. In 2002, as she was nearing retirement, she offered to help me get started in the business. I gladly accepted. She mentored me for almost 6 years!! Upon retirement she felt more than comfortable that her past clients and my future clients would be in the best of hands.

I was awarded the Coastal Association of REALTORS, REALTOR of the Year Award for 2010 and The Womens Council of REALTORS, REALTOR of the Year - 2010. I have served as the President of both organizations in addition to chairing and participating on many committees. I am currently a member of Communications Advisory Committee and Strategic Planning Committee for the Ocean Pines Homeowners Association and in 2018 chaired the 50th Anniversary Committee. I am on the Board for the Worcester County Veterans Memorial Foundation and participate on the Education Committee and Finance Committees for the Coastal Association of REALTORS.

Additionally. I was awarded the Citizen of the Year Award for the Ocean Pines Chamber of Commerce in 2019.

My husband, George Rines is also a REALTOR with Coldwell Banker Realty who offers specific knowledge of new construction after being in the construction business for many years prior to becoming a REALTOR in 1998.
