Personal
I am married to my best friend with whom I share three bright kids. My husband, Dr. Vladimir Kefalov is an Associate Professor of Neuroscience at Washington University, Department of Ophthalmology. My oldest son, Yan-Alexander, is 17 and participates in Ladue swim team and water polo team, as well as plays the baritone and trombone in the school band. My daughter, Menea, is 13 and lives to play her piano & cello, compose her own music, as well as loves basketball & swimming. My youngest son, Teo, is 11 and he is all about math, science, bikes, soccer and tree climbing. We loved St. Louis at first sight when we relocated in 2005, yet we cherish dear memories from our east-coast years in Boston & Baltimore. I am fluent in Bulgarian, Spanish, Romanian & some Russian. My best stress relief is my pottery studio. I enjoy tennis, swimming and hiking. I thrive on cooking, architecture & philosophy. I love entertaining our friends, family and clients!
