930 St Nicholas Ave #54 New York City, NY 10032

Welcome to 930 St.Nicholas Avenue, Apartment 54 - a spacious three bedroom in a well run, elegant pre-war elevator building with solid financials, great light, and real character that can't be manufactured. Original moldings were preserved, hardwood floors restored, and layers of old paint carefully sanded off the wood and glass doors to bring back their original beauty. The result is a home with warmth, texture, and personality in all the right places. There's still an opportunity for the next owner to make it their own, but the original is already here. A little cosmetic updating could go a long way, while the apartment's eastern exposure keeps the space filled with natural light throughout the day. The overall feel lands somewhere between classic prewar and effortlessly vintage - perfect for anyone drawn to Mid Century pieces, antiques, or homes with a collected, lived-in feel. The location is another major part of the appeal. Tucked into Coogan's Bluff, one of upper Manhattan's most underrated pockets, the building sits near multiple subway lines including the C train at 155th Street, the 1 train at 157th, and the A/B/D express hub at 145th Street. And then there's the neighborhood itself: Highbridge Park, the Morris Jumel Mansion, Jackie Robinson Park, Yankee Stadium, the Sugar Hill Children's Museum, plus a growing mix of great local cafés, restaurants, and bars along Broadway that give the area its energy and charm. The building also has a beautiful community garden overlooking Edgecombe Avenue - one of those unexpected details that makes this place feel even more special. Showings by an advance appointment only (including Open House).
