Welcome! My name is Joseph "Joe" Schmidt. While I have lived in Somerset County (Bedminster) for the last twenty years, I was born and raised in Jersey City, the youngest of nine children! Because of this, family is extremely important to me and nothing makes me happier than helping families find their next home. Real Estate is actually my second career-I recently retired after 32 years as a public school educator (Yah, TEACHERS!)-my entire family has been in public service either as educators, police officers and/or social work. A little bit about me:

I am married and live in Bedminster, NJ with my wife and three children; one in 7th grade and two in college. For over thirty years, I have been actively involved in community theater throughout the state of New Jersey (maybe you've seen me signing and dancing on stage) and have also done some professional TV and movie work. Perhaps you caught me in one of my two recent stints on TV's long running "Law and Order SVU" or as a contestant on the reboot of the TV game show "Match Game."
