Personal Background

Born in Newport, Rhode Island, on an army base, I lived in many different locations while my dad was in the service. All my schooling was in western Pennsylvania, where I earned two degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, and taught French and Italian in western Pennsylvania high schools before pursuing a third degree from Middlebury College, on their Vermont campus and in Florence, Italy. Working in Italy after earning the Middlebury degree, I met my husband , an American medical student at the University of Bologna. We married in Pittsburgh in 1975 and drove to New Jersey the next day to begin our life together. In 1979, we purchased our first home, in North Caldwell, and are still in it! As an active, enthusiastic West Essex resident since then, and dedicated real estate professional since 1988, I am pleased and proud to serve both present and future neighbors, with the "distinctive De Fazio service" I have practiced for nearly three decades, and which has earned me the distinction of NCJAR Realtor of the Year for 2014.

Communities I Serve

All of West Essex: the three Caldwells, Roseland, Essex Fells, Cedar Grove, Verona, and Fairfield, plus parts of Morris and Passaic County.
