A Clifton resident for over 35 years, Joanne brings deep local knowledge and expertise across Passaic, Bergen, and Essex Counties.

Joanne’s professional background includes a distinguished 36-year career as an Executive Assistant at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Throughout her tenure, she experienced both the organization’s challenges and triumphs—including surviving 9/11—before retiring in January 2018. Her years of experience have equipped her with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex situations—strengths she now applies to her real estate career.

Her passion for real estate was inspired by her husband, John Varriano, who served as a Branch Vice President at multiple Coldwell Banker offices for over 20 years. Following her retirement, Joanne earned her Real Estate License from the American School of Business in Fairfield, NJ, and began her real estate journey at the Coldwell Banker Clifton office. She currently serves clients from the Coldwell Banker Montclair office.
