Great views, walking distance to downtown. Heading north on C St/341 to Six Mile Canyon Rd. The first dirt road on the left past the first stop sign heading down the canyon is M St. Its an unimproved road with no street sign, but easy to access. Sign is located on the northeast corner of the lot. Property is a downslope to the south. There is a dilapidated wikiup ruin on the property. This 19th century mining bonanza was one of the most important industrial cities in it's day. Todays visitors are in awe for this authentic step back in time. It is also home to the Virginia & Truckee railroad. This community boosts generations of family owned business and residents. The landscape seduces artists from all over the country to want to capture it's beauty. Museums abound that hold the history of bygone days, with mine tours to experience the immensity of the mining efforts in it's time. Virginia City is world renowned for it's annual events and parades. The Historic buildings with wooden boardwalks, boutique shops, and restaurants are just a few of the community attributes. It doesn't get any better than living rurally with Reno and Carson City just 20 minutes in either direction for all your shopping and entertainment must haves!
