COLDWELL BANKER REAL ESTATE SERVICES CHARITY BENEFITS DONATES TO FOOD BANK AND LOCAL MISSION
PITTSBURGH, PA (Feb. 3, 2016) – Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services Charity Benefits, the charitable arm of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services, recently collected and donated food items for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, as well as winter clothing for Light of Life Rescue Mission.
Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services affiliated sales associates and employees in the company’s 13 sales offices donated winter clothing items, including coats, scarves, mittens and boots, to the Light of Life Rescue Mission. The organization, based in downtown Pittsburgh, provides shelter and food to the area’s poor and homeless men, women and children.
Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services Charity Benefits donated approximately 400 pounds of food to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank that was collected by the company’s sales offices. Attendees were also invited to bring non-perishable food donations to the recent Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services Charity Benefits Holiday Breakfast. The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank collects and distributes food through a network of more than 400 independent organizations in 11 counties in southwestern Pennsylvania.
“The winter can be an especially difficult time for people in need,” said George Hackett, president of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services. “Those facing financial hardships feel the strains of the colder winter months more than others. We are pleased to be able to give to those in our communities.”
