Biography

I've always enjoyed being by the water. I grew up in Weymouth, Massachusetts on the South Shore of Boston, vacationing on Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard, and later settled in Manchester-by-the-Sea on the North Shore. My husband and I bought our first Newport, Rhode Island home together in 2000. The process of looking for a new home started me on a whole new life, one that involved the consumer side of real estate. Over a two to three year period I saw just about every single family home and condominium on the market. I know the inventory which is why I chose to begin my real estate career in Newport.

Prior to working in real estate, I had a successful career as a recruiter for the high tech and healthcare industries, specializing in accounting and finance. My recruiting experience serves me well as a Realtor in that I continue bringing parties together: those with something of value to sell and those looking for the very thing the seller has to offer. Additionally, my experience as a project manager helps me to closely track the needs and wants of clients as well as the details of the sales transaction from first introduction to closing.

I am currently a resident of Bristol, Rhode Island and live in an 1849 Greek Revival style home on the Bristol Fourth of July parade route. I think I have the best of both worlds living in historic downtown Bristol and working on Newport's famed Bellevue Avenue.
