I was born and raised in Southeast Ohio and graduated from Ohio University with a psychology major. My goal was to work with families and children and to make a difference in the world. I have worked as a caseworker and more recently as an elementary teacher. I have always had a passion for learning and love exploring new horizons. My dream job was always to buy and restore old houses. I love looking at houses and remodeling. I lived for a time in Georgia, where my daughter was born and moved to South Carolina from East Texas.
My family and I fell I love with the geographical diversity in South Carolina and decided to settle our family in the Midlands region. We love the outdoors and the midlands is the perfect base for weekend or even day trips to the beach or the mountains. Spring in the midlands offers beautiful weather and colorful blooms at every turn. Mild autumns and winters add to the attraction that made the area a perfect destination to make home.
As a transplant to the area, I understand the concerns and excitement of moving to a new place and making it your home.
