I have always loved being around people and helping them anyway I can. I get great satisfaction out of seeing those around me happy, which is why I became a teacher. I attended Ohio University and graduated in 2011 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. While in college, my parents relocated to Hilton Head (they were tired of the cold winters and snow). Once I finished school, I moved to be close to them. I lived with them for about six months before I moved to Charleston. Prior to moving, I had never been to Charleston. I came for a visit and never left! I fell in love with the beautiful scenery, beaches, people, and the amazing city. There is always something fun to do that meets everyone’s interest!

I have been teaching elementary aged students in Charleston for over seven years now. I love helping students grow academically to meet their educational needs and supporting them socially and emotionally along the way. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a student learn something new!
