She was born in Lampasas, and established a career in education working in the Copperas Cove, Killeen and north Austin areas for over 20 years. Working as an educator enabled her to know the community, schools and areas that families want to live.

In her free time, Carol enjoys camping with friends and traveling around Texas. Hobby gardening keeps her busy in the spring and summer months.
