A fourth-generation Colorado native, born and raised in Denver and a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, Karen has the unique “underground knowledge” of a local. She is deeply familiar with neighborhoods and even the history of individual properties, allowing her to recognize trends and offer her clients a big-picture view along with the essential details. About half of Karen’s transactions are based in Denver and half in the foothills, where she is based at the Evergreen office of Coldwell Banker Realty. Karen is a Certified Mountain Area Specialist trained to address issues unique to mountain properties, such as wells and septics. She has been an Evergreen resident for 27 years and consistently supportive of and involved with local community and charitable activities.

 

Before launching her real estate career, Karen spent more than 20 years in media sales and owned and operated her own media consulting firm for seven years. That experience demonstrated the value of working closely with clients to achieve their goals and, at the same time, provided Karen with marketing and social media skills that continue to benefit her clients. Few agents say they enjoy writing listing descriptions, but Karen does! Her eye for detail and understanding of presentation also means that Karen puts an emphasis on staging as an essential tool for successful home sales.
