Rachel M. Carter Named Branch Vice President of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Alexandria Office
ALEXANDRIA, VA (February 1, 2016) — Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has named Rachel M. Carter as the new branch vice president of the company’s Alexandria office, where she will lead over 100 independent sales associates. Carter brings more than nine years of experience in real estate.
Rachel began her career with Coldwell Banker at the firm's Alexandria office in 2007. She was named Rookie of the Year in 2008 and subsequently earned numerous awards for her exemplary sales performance. After completing a prestigious company management program, Rachel was invited to advance her career and apply her skills as branch vice president at the prominent Georgetown office, a position she has held since 2014.
Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Rachel graduated Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor degree in international studies and government, with a minor in French. She also holds a masters degree in national security studies from Georgetown University. After working in government for a congressman and a congressional committee, Rachel honed her managerial and business development experience in the corporate and consulting environments in the engineering and environmental sectors.
Carter currently serves on the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors’ Grievances Committee, the Mid Atlantic Advisor Committee, Education Task Force, Onboarding Task Force, and the NRT Southeast Independent Contract Agreement Committee. She has lived and worked in the D.C. area for over 27 years.
