Joan's Bio

Joan has been in Real Estate for 25 years and has been a lifelong Westchester resident who moved to Bedford 40 years ago, and now resides at Heritage Hills in Somers. Growing up in Harrison, she graduated from the Scarborough Country Day School, and New York University at the Heights Campus, with a B.A. in History and English Literature. She received a diploma from the New York School of Interior Design and began a long career in design which included having her own firm, Joan Wolf Interiors, Inc., as well as being a partner in a wallcovering and fabric company for several years. She was a Board member of the New York Metro Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) for 15 years, and chaired many committees. Upon moving full time to Bedford, Joan embarked on a second career in Real Estate, becoming an Associate Broker. Houses have always been her passion whether designing or selling them. Each home is different, and so are the people. Understanding everyone needs and helping with the myriad of differences involved, and overcoming unique issues to achieve a positive result is always the challenge and the satisfaction. Her design background brings a unique prospective to both buyers and sellers, as well as her knowledge of building codes and zoning, and staging techniques.
