MADISON, N.J. (March 29, 2018) — NRT LLC, the parent company of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, N.Y., has been ranked as the No. 1 residential real estate brokerage firm in the United States for 21 consecutive years, according to the REAL Trends 500 report released today. Both Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, N.Y. and NRT are based in Madison, N.J.
The Real Trends 500 ranking is based on 2017 closed sales volume and closed transaction sides for the nation's top 500 brokerages. NRT led the ranking again with $178 billion in sales volume and 346,942 transaction sides on a pro forma* basis.
NRT also ranked No. 1 on the Real Trends 500 list of the “Top Core Service Providers” in the United States. This ranking accounts for mortgage, title, home warranty, property casualty insurance, and escrow transactions. NRT achieved 253,234 total core service transactions in 2017. Additionally, NRT ranked first in “The Billionaires’ Club” based on 2017 sales volume, and was first on the list of “Top Firms Ranked by Title Closings,” with 187,678 closed title units in 2017.
