COLDWELL BANKER RESIDENTIAL BROKERAGE CARES LAUNCHES DRIVE TO SUPPORT THE INN
SYOSSET, N.Y. (Aug. 23, 2017) – Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares is pleased to announce a 15-month drive to collect donations and raise funds for The INN (Interfaith Nutrition Network), which is a nonprofit volunteer-driven organization based in Hempstead. Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares is the philanthropic arm of local real estate company Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage on Long Island and Queens, N.Y.
“We are pleased to invite our friends and neighbors to join us in support of assisting this wonderful and worthy charitable organization,” said Laura Rittenberg, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage on Long Island and Queens, N.Y. “The INN addresses the issues of hunger and homelessness on Long Island by providing food, shelter, long-term housing and supportive services. Our goal is to focus our efforts on helping to feed the nearly 100,000 children who go hungry every day on Long Island.”
Throughout the 15-month timeframe, all Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage offices will serve as drop-off points for donations of non-perishable food, clothing, toiletries, kitchenware, cleaning supplies, linens and towels. Affiliated real estate sales associates and employees are being encouraged to support the organization through a variety of outreach projects and charitable contributions. For example, they are planning to volunteer their time by assisting with serving meals at many of the 13 soup kitchens in Nassau and Suffolk Counties and contributing to the organization by providing much-needed items and monetary contributions.
