MCCARTNEY NAMED REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT WITH COLDWELL BANKER RESIDENTIAL BROKERAGE
HUNTINGTON, N.Y. (Sept. 11, 2017) – Hal Maxwell, group president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage on Long Island and Queens, N.Y. is pleased to announce that William “Bill” McCartney has been named regional vice president for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage on Long Island and Queens, N.Y. In this new role, McCartney will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and oversight of more than 700 affiliated real estate salespersons serving the Long Island and Queens, N.Y. region.
“Bill’s vast experience and knowledge of the regional market area will serve him well in this new position with the company,” said Maxwell. “I am confident that he will work hard to motivate and guide the affiliated real estate sales professionals in the region as they continue to provide exceptional customer service and guidance.”
McCartney began his real estate career as an agent in 2002 and, in 2006, he affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. In 2008, he began his management career as an assistant branch office manager in the Huntington Regional office. Over the course of just two years, McCartney’s business savvy and leadership skills won him positions as branch office manager in the Bellmore and Ronkonkoma Regional offices. Then, in 2016, McCartney returned to the Huntington Regional location as the branch manager, this time with a resume rooted in leadership success.
“For years, I have had the privilege of offering support to affiliated real estate salespersons so they can help people realized their home ownership dreams. Now my expertise will be utilized on a much broader scale and I am looking forward to the challenge of supporting all fifteen of company’s regional offices on Long Island,” noted McCartney.
As a leader in real estate management, McCartney has earned several awards including Long Island Business News’ Manager of the Year Award in 2014 and Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Manager of the Year Award for Long Island and Queens, N.Y. in 2014 and 2015. He is a member of the New York State Association of Realtors® and the National Association of Realtors® and he resides in Levittown with his wife, Lori.
