Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties are excited to announce a Relocation College Scholarship program, encouraging high school seniors to pursue excellence through means of higher education. 

First thing’s first…who can apply?

All high school students set to graduate in the spring semester of 2016 who meet the eligibility requirements are invited to submit an original and thoughtful essay exploring the topic of relocation.

When will the contest begin?

Essays will be accepted starting March 1, 2016 and must be submitted by the June 15, 2016 deadline in order to be considered.

How is the winner selected?

• The applicant that most effectively communicates how the relocation process has affected them personally, and how they grew from the experience in an original and thoughtful essay of 1,000 words or less will receive a scholarship in the amount of $2,000 to any college of their choice.
• The selection process is based on a scoring system and blind review that ensures fairness and confidentiality for every applicant.

What are the eligibility requirements?

There are a few rules! All interested applicants should review the following eligibility requirements before crafting and submitting their essay:

• Acceptable applicants will be high school seniors set to graduate in the spring semester of 2016.
• Applicants cannot be a family member of any employee of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties, NRT or a family member of any Independent Sales Associate affiliated with the brand.
• Applicant must submit all required application information. Click here to download a copy of the application form.
• A minimum of 30 essays must be received from separate parties in order for the scholarship to be paid out.
• One winner from each region including Northern California, Utah, Colorado and Hawaii will receive a scholarship in the amount of $2,000. Scholarship check will be paid directly to the college of the student’s choice.
• All submitted essays become the property of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties and may be re-printed on social media.
